For centuries it was the residence of the Sanseverino family and today houses the Archaeological Museum with important vases and coins found in the area.
Afterwards we will visit the Arab neighborhoods of the Ràbata and Saracena and the Norman districts of Monte and Piano before arriving at the church of St. Maria del Carmine from whose convent you can enjoy a picturesque view of the Rabata and Saracena neighborhoods with the underlying Saracen gardens .
The tour ends at the Cathedral of St. Maria Assunta of the century. XII, originally in Romanesque style and rebuilt in the century. XVII by the Carafa bishops with stucco decorations made by Neapolitan craftsmen.
